My daughter cried all day...
25 March 2004 | by princessbuttercup70See all my reviews

If you have a sensitive child, please do not let them see this movie! The actual scene of the dog being hit by the car is off screen, but they show the dog lying dead in the road for a full minute with it's owner crying over it's broken body. The plot and the acting DO NOT offset this very traumatic moment. It is not funny in the least and should have a PG rating instead of G. I would recommend the "Air Bud" series or "Zeus and Roxanne" if your child likes dog movies. My daughter loves golden retrievers (she has one named Sheba) and this movie really breaks your heart. Not only does the dog die, it comes back to help find the "bad guys" only to have to say goodbye at the end and go back up to heaven. Talk about a double whammy!
